These options are mostly depreciated in CSMMT 1.1.
In older versions of CSMMT, options existed such as Dialog Drop-Shadowing that were intended for Windows 2000 / XP … yet tricks like this are really unnecessary with desktop composition systems such as Windows Aero. Since these settings also caused problems with modern OS’s and were being shut off anyway in CSMMT’s OS profiles (to avoid said errors), they have been removed in CSMMT 1.1. This section remains as a reference for those coming from an older version.
The “Transparency” setting will fade in and out the CSMMT Control Panel, and also fade it out whenever losing focus. This lets you see Windows behind the control panel if you left it floating on the desktop.
